So basically how he works, is that his flaming yield sign functions the same as the explorer zombie’s torch from pvz2. What makes him different is that he carries a lighter so that if an ice pea or something freezes the sign, he can reignite it. The manhole cover on his torso also has the same durability as the metal grate the poncho zombie from pvz2 can wear. And while ice projectiles has little effect, plants that freeze zombies completely still like Iceberg Lettuce still work completely fine.
