This has been quite the big decision to make between us, but this will ultimately benefit the whole team in general.
There's been a bit of discourse between team members as to the expanded lore deviating away from what Devy had planned out for the project, though at the same time, I don't want the work we've done so far to go to waste. So, we came up to a solution to the problem.
We've ultimately decided that Sonic Reclassified will be split into two sub-projects, but under the same namesake. Each will be pretty much the same, but with tweaks here and there to make them stand out.
EXE Origins is the game how Devy had originally intended it to be; in this case, anything the Debut Demo had set out to create.
Genesis of Terror, on the other hand, contains the expanded storyline that you've seen a part of in these posts, alongside a greater plot to tell to differentiate Reclassified from its other collection-trilogy and Sonic.EXE game peers.
Now, don't worry. All of this stuff is going to remain on the same page, as @PrimalKoopaGaming did with the upcoming Sonic.EXE All-Stars remasters. As updates are rolled out, we'll let you know how further progress is coming along.
Until next time, have a good day/night, people!
