Heya, it has been a little while since the last update on development of DELTARUNE - Hypothesis. There has been a pretty big shift of plans internally, and I want to fill you all in.

To put it simply, DELTARUNE - Hypothesis is being reduced in scope. A lot of hypotheticals planned after The Roaring Begins were so large they could be full fangames on their own, which doesn't fit with what Hypothesis was originally made to be. The core of DELTARUNE - Hypothesis has always been a bunch of smaller "what-if" scenarios bundled together with a meta story tying them together in a sense. As much as I'd love to make every hypothetical huge and flashy, it just isn't realistic or consistent with the content that's already developed.

So the plan now is to focus on having Hypothesis be in a state where it has a developed end goal set and to continue working on smaller sized hypotheticals a-kin to the length of "Overworlds and Ogres" and "The Roaring Begins" until I feel the game is packed with enough to be considered finished.

Now, that leaves one burning question: what happens with OUTLAWED?

If it wasn't already clear, OUTLAWED is planned to be huge, and it doesn't feel right to scale it down into something lesser than it can be. So, here's the solution:

OUTLAWED is being split off into its OWN INDIVIDUAL game, separate from DELTARUNE - Hypothesis

OUTLAWED has grown into one of the most exciting projects that has been worked on, and I want to make sure it is given justice instead of trying to cram it into Hypothesis half-baked. Hypothesis and OUTLAWED will both have development updates, teasers and announces sent here in their respective channels from now on.
