Calida “Cali” Marie Evens is a rebellious little punk who is kinda barely tolerating life at the moment. She doesn’t have any friends, due in part to her abrasive nature, and also the fact that she might catch them on fire with her weird powers, so she just decides “it’s fine whatever I don’t need any friends” until a certain someone comes along called Dawn. She’s as sweet as honey, innocent as a child, but also incredibly socially inept due to the fact she’s been practically isolated since she was about seven years old. One day, however, after a lot of convincing from her dad, Dawn’s mom lets her go to school, where she meets none other than Cali. And against all odds, they click. And the rest is history.
