This article, along with the channel this post is posted in, is dedicated for the rules of the community. It is required for new members to read the post to make sure the community is safe for all, and for understanding the guidelines.

Failure to abide the rules on purpose, or repeatedly break the rules might lead you to either get your content removed from the community, or even getting blocked from it entirely.

Makania Community Rules

Age Requirement

Despite the community's main topic is a show supposedly for kids, you must be at least 13-years-old to join the community. In accordance to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), users under age of 13 (16 in the EEA, not including the UK) are not allowed to join or post in the community.

If a member of this community is revealed to be under the age of 13, please respectfully and calmly report to the moderators. The underaged user will be blocked until the New Year of when the user is supposed to be 13, unless the user is banned from Game Jolt.

Game Jolt Site Guidelines

You are required to follow the site guidelines in general. It's simple that is.

In-Community Behaviour

• Please be respectful to all members of the community. Harassment is not allowed in any way, even if you don't like a part of a user.

• Discrimination, such as racism, homophobia, misogyny/misandry/sexism, ableism, etc. is a bannable offense if it is severe (e.g.: make hate content to a community, telling a person to kill themselves due to being different, etc.) or repeated (e.g.: sending threats and harassment repeatedly to members of a community)

• Offensive content. Such as posts, images, videos, etc. is not allowed. This applies to memes as well.

• DO NOT defame others without an evidence that they're problematic or did something bad. If you believe someone is problematic, please only spread awareness and report it. You can also tell the moderators, and they will decide if the user needs to be blocked from the community and its associates.

Topics and Channels

All content of this community must be linked to Makania. This can be entirely the show itself, or crossover content related to Makania in any way. Off-topic post will be ejected. Repeatedly breaking this rule will result in getting blocked, temporarily or permanently.

Please post your content in the correct channel. If your post doesn't fit any specific channel, post it in the General channel, which is the first option. It is a tiring work if we have to constantly move your post to the channel it supposed to belong in.

Non-Canon Content

We have two specific channels for non-canon Makania content; Theories and Headcanons, and Fanon, OCs and AUs. If your non-canon content is leaning more to canon (such as evidenced theory and LGBTQ+ headcanons), post it in Theories and Headcanons channel. If the content is leaning more on the Fandom side (such as Fantasy Alternate Universe (AU) or an Original Character (OC) related to Makania), post it in Fanon, OCs and AUs channel.

Artworks or Gacha content that includes BOTH canon and original characters (or canon characters meets AU characters) are allowed to be posted on Fan-Arts channel (and Gacha Content if it's Gacha.)

Role-Playing

We only allow roleplays (or roleplay threads) in the Fanon, OCs and AUs channel.

Please do not post, comment or reply in a role-playing tone, unless you're actually running a roleplay account. This will not only make annoyance and/or discomfort towards others, but this is also breaking the rules of not roleplaying in channels other than Fanon, OCs and AUs.
