Making Plans and Ideas for Dead Area 2

As of right now i am making plans for the sequel, Dead Area 2, i’ve already created the loading screen template for it, and got some music from http://incompetech.com/ so it won’t have the default music by mistake.

Here is what i am expecting in Dead Area 2:

  1. A new character (it will still use a WW2 Soilder model due to limitations of the engine and the fact that the model packs suck alot).

  2. Health Packs (finally something to heal yourself with)

  3. Better Music via http://incompetech.com/

  4. Voice acting via Speakonia

  5. New paths (meaning it is now possible to go 2 directions, and one direction has some ammo or a health pack or even an enemy)

  6. Better Menu Screen Background

  7. A tutorial on the loading screen before a level begins (if possible)

While i am eager to get started with Dead Area 2 right now, i would rather have paitence due to some trial and errors during game development that may occur and the fact that my school starts back next week (next monday; 2 days remaning), so with that being said, i promise that this game won’t be rushed as the first Dead Area game (i actually attempted to make Dead Area 2 only weeks ago, but i failed, but then again, paitence is key, can’t be rushed).

Runestones: from concept to in-game model🗿

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
