Mangle drawing!!

I saw the FNAF 2 movie a second time today, right before it leaves the theater. Honestly, I really loved this film both times! The story sat better with me the second time, but each time was equally as fun!

SPOILER FREE REVIEW BELOW

Firstly, I loved everything about this film. It’s not perfect, and suffers from some of the same issues the first film had. Such as pacing, some acting, and storytelling. But as a fnaf fan, I’ll admit to having a little bit of a bias for these films. I had an absolute blast, especially for the first time with a full theater! People cheering, laughing, and screaming at every little thing haha. The Easter eggs / references blew us away!! The animatronics look beautiful, like down to every little detail it’s crazy how faithful they are to the games. Mangle and the Puppet were easily my favorites!! The puppet being the scariest. I felt the withereds could have used a little more screen time, but seeing how much happens throughout the film, I was still satisfied with what they got. The story was engaging, and much more happened this time around compared to the first film. All of the returning and new characters preformed amazingly! Only certain times acting felt a little cheesy/ unrealistic. But this is FNAF, and it’s known for cheesy acting. I do wish Mathew (William Afton) had more screen time, but for what he got, it was intense and honestly really well done! But yeah, there’s action, horror, and humor, it’s all here! I really loved the music in this film too, the ost slaps!! Like seriously, the intro is insanely good and sends shivers down my spine every time I hear it! The ending rapped up quick, and leaves the audience on a huge cliffhanger for the future story. But imo, it’s really exciting. Make sure to stay for the post credit scene. If your a fnaf 3 fan (like me, fnaf 3 is my favorite), your gonna be super happy and satisfied with what is shown. It perfectly sets up the next films idea.

All in all, without spoilers, it was a great film for the fans. And honestly anyone who’s looking for a fun film. If you have crazy expectations, hoping for the best horror film of all time, yes you might be (probably will be) disappointed. But come on, it’s fnaf and it’s pg13, for what we got, it’s pretty damn good. I personally will rate this film, as a series veteran at a solid 8.5/10!!

Hype for fnaf 3. I can’t wait to see them incorporate Fazbears Fright, and that games mechanics!! I wonder if the Phantom Animatronics will make an appearance? Will Fazbears Fright look similar to the game? It’s going to be interesting!!

Here is an eerie dystopian world that I painted for a class assignment in October!

Strangely enough, it was honestly inspired by Battlefield 6 and the candy factory level in Little Nightmares 3.
