A few days ago I found a Super Mario Bros. 2 (USA) cartridge in an abandoned house. I wanted to try it on my old NES, and I realized it was a kind of knock-off, since it only had Luigi, Wario, and Yoshi as playable characters. But as I progressed through the game, things got increasingly strange and unsettling.
