Vaquarnas are deep water swimmers, able to live in deep underwater caverns and regions while also being able to live in the lush swampy forest above ground. There are masses of land here and there on Aquarion. Vaquarna are also nocturnal which is negative as well as it is positive. Them being nocturnal allows them to remain awake and thrive in the night and darkness of the deep ocean but during the day they lack any energy as their energy comes from the water and the moon orbiting their planet. They have the ability to turn invisible for everything except their eyes, which can be beneficial and not beneficial as they can sense things surrounding them via vibration. They use the antenna on the sides of their face to locate vibrations, it's more useful in the water.

Aquarion is very commonly known for its strong hurricane level storms, constant rain and very rare fully clear days. This benefits the Vaquarna a lot as the constant water keeps them strong and energized. More lore later on maybe but one thing to note is that they have a kingdom and the Kingdom isn't Atlantis
