Don’t get me wrong but each time I hear users getting exposed usually the docs say you shouldn’t harass or witch hunt anyone including the user getting exposed but I find it very hypocritical because usually creators of the docs do this too just for confrontation and bullshit like that but in my opinion it’ll just make situations like that worse. I’m NOT trying to defend or justify any actions. Like yes, I get the fact these people have done shit that is bad or unforgivable and they shouldn’t be on social media but why even go after them rather than just spreading awareness about their actions, blocking, reporting, and moving on from these people rather than bringing these people up after a few days, months, or years. Like I’ve been seeing folks of mine here or on discord bringing up problematic people we dealt with in the past and choose to keep bringing up or talking about them rather than just moving on from them like for example Artymik, Shashi, etc. Yes, they did a lot of shit that is wrong and unforgivable and most of us agree they shouldn’t have platforms but you say not to harass or witch hunt these people in docs but yet do it anyway which won’t make you guys go anywhere and fyi I don’t condone actions against those examples I mentioned I’m aware of what they did and I do NOT support it. I was a victim of two problematic people myself back when I was a minor at the time but I don’t try to bring them up a lot. Again, I’m not defending or trying to justify actions of anyone I’m just stating an opinion, I’m NOT taking any sides. I try not to get involved in these kind of conversations I just want to express some feelings to get out. I know a lot of people are not gonna agree with my opinion but Hopefully you understand.
