Hey everyone! Today we'll be looking over some of the modifiers you'll be able to use to make your run of FNaF World Mended more distinct! Let's get into it!
Eternal Wounds
Based off an old fan challenge by a similar name, Eternal Wounds completely locks you out of healing! Not only that, but Gift Boxes are disabled! Think you can beat the game when your wounds can't be recovered?
Demo Mode
As the name of this one would imply, this modifier locks you to the content found within FNaF World's demo. Since this is built off of the latest version of FNaF World, the tent glitch is completely inactive here, so you sadly won't see any true 100% runs... probably.
Nerfed Halloween
While I have mentioned this one in the past, I did want to clarify some stuff about it. All the modifier itself does is make it so that the Halloween moves are far less powerful outside of Geist Lair, albeit they're still somewhat strong. However, there's a bit more to it than that.
As you've likely noticed, the game has a lot of achievements. Quite a few of them require you to beat the game with some kind of challenge modifier. Given the overpowered nature of the Halloween crew, I decided to make some specific achievements unobtainable if you have even a single one unlocked (and yes, that includes Fixed Party).
However, if you enable Nerfed Halloween, then you'll be allowed to use the Halloween crew without locking yourself out of achievements! I think it's a fair trade-off. It's worth mentioning that certain modifiers will lock you out of these achievements no matter what.
Eye Spy
So, this one will require a little context. I forget what I was changing specifically, but at some point during development, Eyesore was being modified. After trying to test this modification, I found something revolutionary: fighting Eyesore once would result in constant Eyesore battles. This was obviously a bug that needed to be fixed, but it gave me an idea.
So, if you enable the Eye Spy modifier, you will be hunted down by Eyesores! Is this a challenge, or a free EXP farm? Who's to say? I just think it's funny.
That covers all the modifiers I've wanted to talk about!.. except for one. There's another modifier I want to mention, but I'll be making a separate post just for it. I think you'll understand once you see it. For now, that's all. Take care, everyone!
