Merry Christmas!

I realise that it has been a while since I last posted on this devlog. I’ve been extremely busy with work, finishing my thesis and PhD!

Then to get back in to gamedev after my break I decided to start working on my dream game project - a sort of mix between stardew valley and a fantasy viva pinata - a game where you take an abandoned farm and get it back up and running, attracting a bunch of creatures to your farm and restoring the ecosystem. If you have any interest in this you can find updates on my twitter!

My plan is to get this game up to an early alpha stage and while it is being tested I will be working on Grimmsteps again.

But mostly with this update I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Holidays! I hope you enjoy the New Year and that 2018 is happy and healthy for you and your family.

Heya there! I really wanted to show you all a little gameplay preview of the first boss fight i'm currently working on i hope you like it ^^

Today I was setting up the location of the first boss. His name is "Father" and he is the first of the Patagonians. His task is to guard the road to the House.🛡🗡 Bookmark pre-launch page🔖🔖🔖

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?

Heya! I wanted to show some gameplay progress i made so far. I hope you like it ^^

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

Spaaaace~

These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)

Drawn in Piskel using my mouse. Whaddya think?

Alone Together....

I mostly build 3D First Person Shooter game mechanics in Unity, and in this I'm just showing C4 mechanics I made for a little side project I am working on! :)

OK, this starts to be too tricky puzzle already :D
