MFL FighterZ has come a long way, its been just over 5 years since the first playable version of MFL1 was made and it has a weird story behind it.
At first, MFL was only meant to be a joke game. Earliest version of MFL FighterZ was made in 2017, built on top of a modified version of D.U.E.L Forever which was released in the same year. It only featured 6 characters and a single map. The characters were all parodies of classmates and teachers and named after their personality or nicknames, and the single map being the school itself. It was just meant to be a cheesy joke to annoy the teachers, however it suprisingly became popular as we started playing it inbetween classes and in lunch breaks which tempted me to add more parody characters. And so in 2018, MFL FighterZ was officially released.
Five years after its birth, here i am developing perhaps the most sophisticated fighting games on Scratch. This is my way of showing respects to an old ass game, even though i still cringe at the boring gameplay and bland visuals, i have decided to release MFL FighterZ and MFL FighterZ - 2 on GameJolt alongside the usual Turbowarp upgrades.
