So after looking at what I may have to compromise, I have decided that I will get started on making more sprites starting tomorrow, which Im sorry it took some time, but it needed time so I can reveal this. To clarify more, after the meeting, me and the programmer will experiment further with the newer engine, since it can handle/read the code while the one I was working on simply couldnt.
Stay tuned for what is to come, and hope things will go well. For a bit more exciting news, I will let a certain person know about the game when I am finished with all this, who has interest in the game first place (and yes, she is excited).

Update: Life-Induced Hiatus
Pretty much restored Peko's first frame, which took about 2 months. I have one or two i have to get back but this took a while to make it clear. Tried to make a new sprite but changed my mind and worked on this
This is how Akane looks so far. I've been having more time for her lately.
Ibuki's starting sprite is pretty much done. Just need to add detail to the shoes and see about adding in the necklace. Since she's very decorative, she's gonna be hell to animate, but should be worth it after making this awesome moveset i have for her.
