A great friend, inspiration, and idol of mine and many others has unfortunately been taken from us within the past few days. Mixlas had been struggling with depression for a while, and while I thought things were getting better for him with our last conversation, it turned out to be the end. Over ten years ago, I met him on DeviantArt and designed one of my first OCs around one of his characters. His art was really great, and getting the chance to talk to him back then was a dream come true. For the next few years, we would talk about anything and everything. The new Mario game coming out, we would discuss it and theorize together. We would both make custom mods for Mario games, give each other ideas, and record our playthroughs. He helped me get better at modeling every day. The only reason Buster exists is because he recorded a video for me showing how to model Freddy. He was so talented, and all of his work since Tyke and Sons has been 100x more impressive. It hurts to see he can't share his hard work on his own anymore, and it hurts to know he felt like there was no way out of the darkness he was in. His impact on the Five Nights at Freddy's community cannot be understated, and I hope people continue to be inspired by his work. In my own darkness, he was there for me and brought me out of it. I wish I had done the same for him.

If you know somebody who is going through a rough time, especially if you cannot visit them in person, they desperately need your help before it's too late. Anything is worth it to save a life.

I do not know the details of his passing, so please do not ask. Please pray for his family.

For those wishing to honor Mixlas, I am open to suggestions. I thought it would be cool to have Skittles appear in more games, like how I would put his plushie in all of mine.
