Regarding Rubithed
So first of all, I had an idea of a randomly generated maze game and that is why I make Rubithed. This game is just a practice, to allow me to get used to the “3D environment”.
So don’t expect too much from this horror game.
Here’s the current progress. Also, my child, after all of the vote for the protagonist of the game, I may change the protagonist again… so, please forgive. XD
In this game, you don’t play, you outlast.
Night 3 isn’t completed yet, maybe if, I can release a demo after completing it. You can join Nithriotto’s Discord Server for more information. :P
(Though I’m not sure when, school has been giving tons of homework here.)
Regarding 30…
30 isn’t technically dead, (it is dead for the old version). We are planning on a new version of 30 making it a multi-styled adventure game rather than another horror game (Sorry, horror game fans).
To differentiate from the new and old 30, we will all agree to call the old version of 30 as
Old 30 (R.I.P)
Reasons for cancellation:
The Old 30 (R.I.P) is centered around The Elevator Ritual which is one of the reason Old 30 (R.I.P) is dead.
Old 30 (R.I.P) was already at least 500MB and Chapter 1 (of 7) is not even 15% completed.
Old 30 (R.I.P) was a 2D game trying to simulate into a 3D game, which is too much work. And also the fact that you need to move around, look in 90/360 degrees.
Concerning the enemy AI, the concept is good, but it’s too hard to make it alive for a 2D game engine.
(Main Reason) The game was poorly planned and executed. We have 4 voice actors prepared and ended up wasting it. I thought, in December 2017, It’s been a while since I touch the game, and eventually I finally cancel it in July 10, 2018. (A lesson to be learned)
