More pathfinding and future plans.


This weeks changes include (very primitive) vehicle AI. All they need to do now is shoot at the player and bot support will be working. Have a GIF to look at.

I’ve been thinking about the state of the game, and I’ve decided to cut a lot of the less important things I’ve been working on in favor of getting a working build up faster. Maybe I’ll go back and add those things, but for now I think I need something finished. Here’s what needs to be done. (I might have forgotten some things)

I think this can be done in two weeks (It will probably take 3). After all of this is done I plan to release something playable. I haven’t decided what I’ll do after then, but right now I’m just feeling burned out. I’ll figure something out.

Next up

Powerups and Shooty Things This week I’ve added basic powerups and a rotating weapon to the game. That’s really it when it comes to notable features, as I’ve mostly been looking into AI and pathfinding. More on that next week.

Enemies can also suddenly spawn through Realm Rifts. These Rift Spawns are going to be stronger than the ones wandering around. TBD on the enemies... #screenshotsaturday #godstear #madewithunity

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
