This morning, I went to class with my bike. I came back and saw... this.

Yes, that's a damaged front tire. Someone cut a piece off, and it led to a flat. I had to walk back to the dorm.
I looked into this further, and realized that whoever did it also left small cut marks on my lock and chain. They were trying to steal my bike, but fortunately failed.


This was enough to make me call Public Safety. I spoke with an officer (who was very nice and understanding, by the way! 10/10) and the team is already looking into it. I wondered how they could figure out the one responsible, until they informed me...
There were cameras that caught everything!
So, that issue is being sorted out rather quickly. I'm glad things are looking up, but I still have to take this bike to get repaired.
