Mouse up!

And yet another big update that changes the way the game is played. I’d like to pretend that I know what I’m doing but…

Anyway, the game is now controlled using the mouse. To tackle enemies you simply move into them with sufficient force, and that force also determines how fast the enemies will fly away. I feel like this is a more organic control scheme than using the keyboard.

I’ve also added two new enemy types: The orange enemies shoot lasers that kill you, the green ones zoom through the screen at high speeds so you’ll have to react quickly to dodge (and then tackle) them.

Finally we have the Powerball that shows up every now and again. It doesn’t hurt you but if you tackle it, it’ll bounce around the screen for a while and take down any enemies it comes in contact with.

I’ve also added some minor visual polish, like sparks that appear when you scrape along the walls.

Now go get diving and let me know what you think!
