This is INDIE CROSSOUT. A fictional (!) platforming fighting game inspired by Smash and Indie Cross by MORØ.

The Knight was an easy second choice. Hollow Knight's soul abilities perfectly mirror the classic smash formular. Was fun making the silhouettes. Also I've been playing Silksong. It's peak.

THE KNIGHT / THE VESSEL

Short ⦁ Nimble ⦁ Lightweight ⦁ Wall-Jump

SOUL METER: Strength of specials decreases on repeated use. SOUL is recharged by striking opponents.

• Neutral - VENGEFUL SPIRIT: Fires a SOUL projectile with a straight trajectory. Explodes on impact with surfaces or opponents.

• Up - HOWLING WRAITHS: Charges SOUL and unleashes an area attack uwards. The Knight is kept in the air for the attack duration and gains one extra jump afterwards.

• Side - CRYSTAL DASH: Channels SOUL to unleash a continous forward dash at high speed that strikes through any opponent. Ends only on cancellation or impact with walls.

• Down - DESOLATE DIVE: Channels SOUL to perform a straight downward groundpound attack with massive impact. Creates a large shockwave if used on the ground.
