Moving Forward away from GameJolt after Engraved and REGLITCHED.


Yeah, I know. I'm making my say too.

Firstly, I wanted to say that I didn't have trust in GameJolt when this year started. What many of you don't wanna hear is that GameJolt randomly blocked me from using the platform one day while I was working on Engraved's Demo 2. The whole day I was stressing out, and they didn't give an email explaining what happened, why they did it, just silence. When I sent them an email saying I was blocked, they unblocked me. Still, without an explanation in the first place.

Secondly, I don't have GameJolt Creator status, never did or wanted to. But I know a lot of fellow developers who do, and they're likely getting shadow-banned by this new update they've rolled out! It's not fair to the people who put their trust in them with hopes of payment, only to get slapped across the face and never have their posts shown again. It's fucked up! People just wanna share their creations, their talents, their art! Which leads into my third point (the whole title of the post).

I will be moving away from GameJolt, but I will say this, though. Future releases of Engraved Establishment AND REGLITCHED (rename pending) will be released on both itch.io AND GameJolt. That way, new users and excited fans can still download the game here the way that they please, OR if they never wanna use this site again, they could go to https://luckyrobolad.itch.io
but on a real note though, I wanna thank the thousands of you for following my games and me as a whole. It's honestly amazing to have my own community of people who look forward to what I make, and it's an incredible feeling. I never want that to go away. I really hope you look forward to any new projects on itch after Engraved and REGLITCHED (rename pending), cause I have so many ideas.
