A bet you guys are wondering, "What happened to All-Star Battlemania 3?". Well the truth is, I have no motivation to continue the series. Working with 4th Party Characters isn't really fun anymore... To be honest, the only characters I had so much fun developing were the video game section of characters, because I can dig it you know?
When I got to Scorpion and Sub-Zero, I was excited to develop them, because I always wanted to try the Fatalities and X-Rays and it was a lot of fun. When I got to characters like Goku or Superman, my motivation to develop the game has started to grow a little lower honestly, because while I was working with our joke fighter: Pepsiman, I wanted to get him and Venom done so badly so I can work on Ragna and Sol Badguy. Unfortunately, my patience and motivation has been drained, and I no longer want to continue All-Star Battlemania 3.
HOWEVER!
I am planning on working on a Super Smash Bros. game that is essentially a "reboot" of the series. Not everyone will be here, there will be a few cuts, because the Super Smash Bros. game will be mainly focused on Video Game characters as a whole, not just Nintendo. Of course, Smash did started with Nintendo, and there will be more Nintendo characters than any company's characters. The game is also a node for Mr. Sakurai and the late Mr. Iwata as they are one of my favorite game developers who inspire me to make games.
So yes... the next project is not All-Star Battlemania 3... It's a Super Smash Bros. fangame! But, we are not using 2D assets, we are going to animate fighters in a 3D software and make them into sprites like I did with my previous attempt on my old fangame Super Smash Strikers.
What's the project called? It's called Project R. What does the R stand for? Well, you're gonna have to wait and find out yourself! This Smash fangame will have crazy newcomers, so expect the unexpected.
For those who still miss All-Star Battlemania 3, fear not, as will now give you the game files on my Google Drive. Will update the devlog when it's posted.
Well that's all I have to say. Thank you all who supported me as I shall start on Project R!
