Whether this suggestion gets famous or gets completely ignored by the community, I wanted to share the real reason why I think a mechanic like this is necessary.
Even if you have terrible skill at a game, never think that a cheat will ever make you a better player.
Using a shortcut or a text editor doesn't make you good; it just robs you of the actual satisfaction of overcoming a challenge. It's exactly like Mr. Hippo says right before his 30-minute lecture: shortcuts only take away the true joy of the experience.
It is always better to fail honestly, learn from your mistakes, and try again with good old-fashioned elbow grease. Stay honest, don't touch the save files, and protect your vents!
