Science fiction, adventure games, Pink Floyd, oh my… Well, my first ever full adventure game is now out - you can get it (and see more info regarding it) here. Releasing the game - as with my previous two demo releases - is a strange and intense experience. There’s frustration at how long seemingly simple things can end up taking, reluctance to keep beta testing as you want to get the game released, reluctance to release as you suspect more beta testing is needed, anticipation of people telling you how much they loved the game, fear that they will tell you they hated it instead… all of this rolled into one tense little ball of stress, worry and excitement. Hey, I’m not complaining - I love it! Just saying, it’s always a small adventure in itself just hitting that “submit” button when you’ve finally set everything up. :-D Had some nice feedback already, which is good - I have to say that although I’ve tried to make it accessible to gamers who aren’t already fans of the point-and-click adventure game genre, I’m really not sure how well non genre fans will take to it. (I guess I’ll find out…)

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.
Enemies can also suddenly spawn through Realm Rifts. These Rift Spawns are going to be stronger than the ones wandering around. TBD on the enemies... #screenshotsaturday #godstear #madewithunity
