my dad said that when he was a kid, his great grandma told him a story about a cat (whose name i forgot but we'll call it gato cuicui because it was smth like that)

i drew my representation of it wawaawaw


apparently according to the story gato cuicui made a soft wooden sound while walking, and he appears in the night, and rests right next to a person without them noticing

so like this lil boy would scare bad spirits away and stuff, without even knowing he's doing that ; gato cuicui doesnt have bad or good intentions, nor any thought; its just a vague projection of life

so like back to my dad and his great grandma

every night before my dad went to sleep his great grandma would tell him the story, and when he was about to sleep, he heard soft wooden sounds
