So the reason that they barely know anyone is because there are actually another generation of toons.

They were the generation before, them they put into storage which are basically the the the companies "failed attempts" so they'll be reusing ink and lchor

The reason why their generation was a "failed attempt" it's because the companies like to be very control over the toons. And they made it very loud and clear that they were not happy. So they made a new generation of toons that could hide their emotions more easily.

At the end of The third stage of the AU they got let free by Goob and Shrimpo I'm not going to say why they were in the storage because spoilers but yeah.(Also, they were unconscious)

And technically they are Goob and Scraps's parents

And reason that they have a decent relationship with Shrimpo is because it's an angryhugs AU ;]
