Hello, everyone! My name is Frond, and I’ve been a graphic and game designer for about 7 years now. Last 2024 year, was terrible for me, but it was also the year when my quality standards reached new heights compared to previous years.
This year, I have a lot of plans, and I decided to start with the first one - partially diving into music. Back in 2017–2019, I tried creating music, but I was young, and nothing really worked out. But time moves on, and as a music enthusiast who loves various genres and tracks with unique sounds, making own music was only a matter of time. I listen to music every day, I can’t live without it. It’s become a part of my life, and I’m truly happy about it (just to clarify, I’m not addicted to music; I simply love it). Recently, a friend of mine also started writing songs, and that motivated me, breaking the last chains that were holding me back.
Now, I’m embarking on another journey as a musician. I’m still struggling with coming up with melodies, but I’ve figured out the direction I want to take and the style I want to embrace. I’m not chasing fame in this field. For future game projects, I’ll leave music creation to professional music makers. My goal is to develop this skill for use in my projects because sometimes this ability can make a huge difference.
I will share my progress as I learn if there is anything to show. Follow me and my other social networks! There is quite a lot of content coming your way this year.
Why exactly this song - It's Been So Long?
I want to start by saying that 2016 is my favorite and most nostalgic year, it’s a time I often wish I could return to. Thanks to Five Nights at Freddy's, I got to experience a truly memorable childhood. I discovered the franchise back in 2015, but it wasn’t until 2016 that I became a full-fledged fan.
Listening to the old FNAF-inspired songs, especially those by The Living Tombstone, takes me back to those warm, peaceful days when everything around felt calm and quiet. I absolutely adore the composer’s style, which is why I chose this song as my foundation. Out of all six songs, It’s Been So Long is my absolute favorite.
Unfortunately, I won’t be able to continue trying to recreate this track from scratch. Each attempt brings new challenges with musical instruments and add-ons. Reproducing it 1:1 is incredibly difficult and time-consuming. However, it was fascinating to spend three days experimenting and trying to achieve something, even if just a small piece. I’ve shared the part that turned out the best. It's never too late to start learning something new!
