What were my goals for the first ten months of 2025?
I just want to get this out of the way before I go onto exploring my goals for 2026. My goal for this year was to get more experienced at art, and I'm really happy with how much progress I made.
I moved from MS Paint to Krita somewhere in mid-late 2024 and it worked for the better, so I can gladly say that I've succeeded a bit.
1: Start bringing Mindy's Colorful World to life.
Mindy's Colorful World is one of the many creations of mine that I'm very proud of. I think I did a pretty good job with most of the worldbuilding and characters, but I think I can do better.
I've considered making a novel series for it since I began writing stories earlier this year (mostly about a particular FNaF fangame series taking place within a bakery full of cartoons), and I think it'd be a great opportunity to bring the series to life.
If I go with the novel series idea, it will be made on Wattpad. I'll post a link to my account once I publish the first story, so look out for when it releases.
2: Revive Liam's Fantasy Land.
I've been thinking about getting back into game developing for a bit. I made redesigns for Liam and his team from August to October this year, which were all made in Krita instead of Scratch (or if you want to be more specific, Turbowarp. It's a modification of Scratch).
You may remember that I developed two games back in 2023-2024, those being Funtime Triple Trouble and the aforementioned Liam's Fantasy Land. The problem with these games was that I made them all by myself.
This may not seem so bad, but I learned the hard way that working on a big project entirely by yourself won't really go that well. No feedback other people can give, no beta testers, and other problems, which led to FTT not aging well and LFL blowing up in my face.
For the revival of Liam's Fantasy Land, I'm planning to hire an artist for the game since I'm not sure if my current art skills will be enough for a big project like LFL, and I'm planning to hire a coder too because I'm planning to have it made in Clickteam Fusion 2.5 instead of Turbowarp.
As for Funtime Triple Trouble, I'm honestly not sure what I'll do with it. If I had to revive it, I'd rewrite the story and change some of the characters' names (such as Poke, which was derived from my old username). That's all I want to say.
I'm hoping that the new LFL will be better than the original one.
3: Have a more social life, both online and IRL.
This goal might not be as big as the other two, but I've been thinking of making more friends for the rest of this year and maybe next year too. I've been making a bit of progress though, so that's awesome.
As for IRL though, I don't have that much social confidence unfortunately, but with some help, I might be able to achieve an IRL friend group, which will be pretty awesome.
Conclusion
I hope I can achieve those goals soon, or at least by the end of 2026. Also, my life will be a lot different moving ahead, since I'm turning 20 in 2026 and that'll really be where adult life starts to kick my ass.
Have a good day, everyone.
