So out of hype for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, I have been playing a fair bit of Pokemon Let's Go Eevee. I have been playing on my complete file quite a bit, attempting to fill out my rather empty Pokedex. Just last Friday, by pure luck, without any sort of improvement to shiny odds, I caught this:

That's right. A shiny rat. Most importantly though, my very first shiny Pokemon, and at full odds. I lost my mind. I will cherish this rat forever.
But that's not even the end of it. As I was playing today, not one hour ago, heading towards route 17 to find three Eevee that I could use my evolution stones on to register the three Eeveelutions in my Pokedex, I found something rather interesting in the water:

A full odds shiny Staryu. Only four days after I encountered the full odds shiny Rattata, I found yet another full odds shiny. Both of them are independently a 1/4096 spawn rate, or a 0.00024% spawn. I am in shock.
Anyways, that's the story of how I caught 2 full odds shiny Pokemon in less than 4 days. Hope you enjoyed.
