Mob is obviously an Espurr, it's in the name!
Espurr is the restraint pokemon. "Behind that blank stare is an intense struggle to contain its devastating psychic power." Mob and espurr are one in the same.
Reigen being meowscarada takes a little more explaining. Reigen is a fake psychic, and meowscarada is a magician. But meowscarada isn't a psychic type, it's a dark type. None of it is real magic- it's all sleight of hand and cheap tricks. Plus I thought the following flower could make for a neat reference to Dimple!
