MY OPINION ON ALL CLASH ROYALE BALANCE CHANGES


1.Dagger Duchess Hitspeed nerf

This is lame asf. Other tower troops have been bad for a while and now they're getting rid of them fully. Why was this nerf even made???

2. Royale Chef Cooktime nerf

This nerf is a little more understandable but they should've reworked him entirely. He has a huge problem with only giving pancakes to skeletons or small units so they could've reworked him to only give pancakes to cards with more total health than a berserker and also only be able to give pancakes to cards that have more than 35% hp. Would balance him out and make this nerf much more understandable. Glad this will kill pekka goblin giant rage though.

3. Spear Goblins first hit speed nerf

DESERVED. We are FINALLY killing pekka goblin giant rage. Will also make goblin gang less strong.

4. Miner hit speed nerf

I'm very mixed about this one. Miner control decks have been doing great in top ladder recently, not really for miner's chip damage but for his meatshield potential. This hurts miner poison too much and dosen't really do much for miner control either. So idk if its good or not but we'll see.

5. Skeleton Barrel EVO death damage nerf

Yeah this one is very deserved. The main gimmick is the 2 barrels full of skeletons, not the death damage. The death damage nerf should've been a little more though, maybe 8%.

6. Spirit Empress (Air) hp nerf

Spirit Empress has been good for a while. I feel this nerf wasn't needed, people just dont know how to use spirit empress.

7. Phoenix hit speed and crown tower death damage buff

The Phoenix death damage reduction has had no reason to exist for the longest time. I don't think the death damage would change anything though. The hit speed buff was needed however, Phoenix has been mid for a while. I wish they also buffed the 2nd Phoenix a little more though.

8. Zappies first hit time buff

Yeah this is pretty good. I think it'll put Zappies in the meta finally. Once they all start attacking they get insanely good.

9. MINIONS SPEED BUFF

FIRE. I just wished that they also buffed their damage a small bit, so they get more bang for their buck before they inevitably get arrowed. A Minion Horde first hit speed buff would've been cool too.

10. Golemite damage buff

Pretty good. Currently they act as only meatshields for their ranged troops behind them but this should make them more than that. Maybe they should've only done 100% though.

11. Giant Snowball EVO speed rework

Said to be a rework, seems more like a nerf though. Makes the cards snowballed have less invulnerability time. Will make drill decks much less reliant on the evo. Good nerf.

12. Witch EVO skeletons heal rework

Very bad. Now the evo will pretty much be useless. Witch only spawns 4 skeletons per summon and that only happens around twice its lifetime. Ur getting a mid heal 4 times before something locks onto it and kills it. The heal source from other skeletons should've just been reduced to around 60%. They're on sort of the right track though.

13. Firecracker sight and recoil nerf

FIRE. The recoil has been so annoying for so long and the sight range causing weird interactions. Great nerf.

14. Lumberjack and rage rework

So im pretty sure this means rage is getting a duration nerf and a damage buff, but the rage nerf dosen't apply to Lumberjack's rage. Will make the Lumberjack evo less annoying but will make PEKKA GOBLIN GIANT RAGE SO MUCH MORE ANNOYING. Hopefully this changes much less interactions. And if the lumberjack is getting an hp buff than this is so bad.

15. Cannoneer rework

So you are dialing down the entire purpose of the Cannoneer...

16. Goblin Hut rework

So basically the spear goblins nerf mostly wont apply to the goblin hut. Thats good, glad the spawn frequency is getting a nerf though. They maybe should've nerfed the hp by 3% but this should be fine.

17. Dart Goblin rework

Why? Im glad this nerfs the Dart Goblin evo greatly but you are just making the normal Dart Goblin more like a buffed archer, removing the originality of the card. Good for the Dart Goblin evo, bad for the og Dart Goblin.

18. Archers buff and Archers EVO rework

The Archers have needed a damage buff for a while. Good buff. Idk what to say about the Archers evo rework, its ok.
