Well, I think it’s time I told you a the truth about something.
It’s about time I gave you a little insight of my life as a gamer.
The majority of my life, I’ve had fun with any game I put my hands on.
And I mean ANY game. I started off with Pac-Man when I was REALLY young. I liked playing it to beat the levels.
Then as I got older, my dad got a special game from a friend.
The game was called “Sonic Mega Collection”. The game looked REALLY appealing (mostly because it just came out) so I played it.
Sonic 1 was the very first game I played. Without any 2D platforming experience, it was really hard. Sonic 2 and 3 however, with a family member, was really fun to play.
As time went on, we kept playing the classics.
Eventually our dad bought us another Sonic game.
Sonic Riders, our first competitive racing game. It was fun!
Eventually, we grew up following Sonic.
Sonic 06, Sonic and the Secret Rings, uh… Black Knight (whatever that is) Sonic Colors and continued.
Then, the day Sonic Generations came out, I wanted to find out if there were any older Sonic Games out there. All of my older/younger cousins know Sonic, too. They even had some old Sonic Games.
Out of all the other games (besides Sonic) that I’ve played, I enjoy Sonic the most. Luigi is also a character that I enjoy the most.
His games are so fun to play, and going fast has NEVER been a hastle.
(Of course, that’s what I think. I’m not going to berate your opinions on Sonic. )
That’s also why I decided to make DAFS:
To make a game that’s equally as good, and as satisfying as the game’s that I like the most. (If you guys don’t mind me counting Undertale, too.) Sonic needs a tribute that’s as equally satisfying as the Modern Sonic games (well… for you guys MOST OF them.)
I hope this helps you understand why I’m making DAFS.
Midnight, I have another devlog to make discussing a change I’m making to my other page: “Dat April Fools Special (NOT Real Title)”
Until next time, Stay fresh! NYEHFULLY yours, The Great G-Luigi!
