4 months ago, I reviewed Deltarune, and said it is the best game known to man. I still agree with that. Now you might be asking, why do I have to make another review?
1 - The game deserves it.
2 - I forgot to mention one thing that really gives the game it's SOUL. Get it? Get it? SOUL..? I'll shut up now. Anyways, uh
--------------------------THE SOUNDTRACK--------------------------
Never has a game blessed my ears with the best music I have heard, other than Pizza Tower. I absolutely adore all of Deltarunes OST's. If you held a gun at my head, and told me to name one Deltarune OST I hate, I would take the shot. Toby Fox really made a masterpiece, and added music to make it MORE of a masterpiece. Now, my FAVORITE OST? That would have to be GUARDIAN. At the start, it's mid, but as it continues, it gets better. When I was fighting The Dark Night, and this played, it kinda made me want to be IN Deltarune. I don't mean that as like, "ooh, im a playable character or easter egg". No. It made me want to live IN the game. But that is an unhealthy habit, so don't do that, or think of that much. Anyways, the OST deserves its own post. However, I will name some more things about it that isn't the soundtrack. Let's get to
------------------------------THE BOSSES-----------------------------
Deltarune has bosses. And don't get them mixed up with those mini enemy's things. We're talking about Lancer, Lancer's dad, Spamton, The Queen, Tenna, and the Dark Night. My favorite boss, as I mentioned in the first review is Tenna. I already said why he's my favorite, but I will say it again, and maybe more. The Mr (Ant) Tenna's TV Time is catchy, he's a goofy little guy, and he had to die so early in my gameplay, and-
explodes
Look, I can go on about how much I adore Tenna, but to keep your attention spam going, I'm gonna stop.
Now, Spamton is also up there as my favorite boss. Spamton is a salesman who speaks in [Brackets], and REEEAAALLY wants to sell me [Hyperlink Blocked], which I'm 54% sure is drugs. His bossfight OST is also kinda catchy, especially when you can hear him saying, "Now's your time to be a BIG SHOT! Be a BIG- Be a BIG- BI-I-I-BIG SHOT". Anyways, bosses? Love 'em. Time to move onto
---------------------------- THE NPC'S ---------------------------
Toby Fox realized how SOUL-less NPC'S in most games are, and said, "So what if we made every NPC in this game feel like they're real, and have emotions?". After that, he created peak. I don't know what type of stuff was going on in Toby's head to make him make the NPC's have emotion, but whatever it is, I need that for good story telling. I'll keep this short, but basically, all NPC's feel like real people. A good example of this is Noelle Holiday. She's a deer, who lives which probably the richest family in the state. For some reason, Noelle's mother hate's Susie. Or was it Kris? I don't know, I don't remember. Nevertheless, she feels like a real human being. Toby Fox scientifically engineered her to make her have a personality. Every other NPC in the game also has emotion, too. Now, if you have looked at your calendar, you would realize that it's 2026. Now, there's a reason I'm mentioning this. Which is
------------------- DELTARUNE CHAPTER 5 ----------------------
I'm gonna keep this part short, because we don't know much about Chapter 5, but whatever it is, I'll 100% enjoy it. Toby Fox made his friends playtest Chapter 5, and what they said is kinda making me worried on Tenna.
-------------------------- OVERALL -------------------------
Deltarune is a great game, and you can't convince me otherwise. I just listed many reasons why you should play it.
