I think we need some kind of verification on the internet so it isn't as easy for children (minors) to visit p*rn sites, gambling sites and overall interact with the adult part of the internet. The verification we have now is simply not enough and ineffective because children can lie about their age or simply just click on the “I'm over 18” box to gain access (3. image).

I know that on most social media, you agree that you're over 13 or 16 by signing up for an account, but there's no way of verifying if that's true. If you are over 15, you should be able to verify with your country's ID the government gave you.

Of course, age verification carries the risk of the app getting hacked and your private information being put at risk. That's why the age verification app should delete the data as soon as possible to avoid data breach.
