      as we know mario has shown insane strength and durability feats from throwing bowser with ease to getting knocked into cap kingdom and getting up, But sonic has some too the man breaks metal everyday and in forces before getting captured he was able to dodge most of the attacks and even knock down zavok while dodging metal who raced him so here are the advantages they all get

      IQ: Mario has like 4 jobs sonic is 15 as sonic has better Battle Iq and combat skills mario has better normal Iq and normal skills

      Durability/Endurance: due to odyssey and the fact sonic got knocked out by time eater i will give it to sonic time eater knocked sonic out for 30 seconds bowser knocked Mario out for longer so Durability and endurance is sonic

      overall: sonic NO DIFF: yes i know mario is strong and durabilty i had to think about but tell me mario can move at the speed of light or maybe sound no he won't even react sonic will air combo until bro says mama mia i surrender and Mario never surrenders so time for power ups

   2. Mario: Basic Power Ups Vs Sonic Classic Era Sheilds

      ok first of all fire Mario is useless fire shield is right here for sonic his cat form is fast but speedshoes crushes cat mario The Cape/Tanooki has a advantage but one hit knocks both of them to base so lets skip too

      Super Star Mario Vs Invincible Sonic

      the old sparkle shield has more invincible time so uhh sorry mario

      Giga Cat Vs Super Sonic

      the size advantage is nice but sonic is a god killer, time eater even the death egg you name it sonic destoryed them mario has no chance

      Smash Bros: depends on skill as sonic has a better Recovery run speed and very annoying to deal with due to players using his speed to run away from attacks then run back and attack but marios combos and being the first character someone chooses every player is good at him and he can use stuff like water hoses and throws to counter sonics kicks and sonics final smash is weak so depends on skill really i will give it to mario i just feel bad

   3. Death Battle: ok now a real fight both won once lets go

      Strength:

      Mario was able to hold back sonics spin dash and throw him into the sea while sonics speed punches did no damage over all mario crushes sonic here

      Durability: in their super star and hyper form sonic was struggling way more mario ends it
