These are just how i think of the games. i know some of the stuff on here might make some people mad, but these are just my opinions. No need to bash my opinions. Opinion bashing is No Good!

Number 5: Sonic 1
Ah yes the classic sonic 1 which started the whole series. I like the game. it definitely deserves to be one of the best games ever made. but over time, it has many flaws. Like not being able to spin dash and some levels either being too slow, full on chaotic or just down right bad (I'm looking straight at you labyrinth zone) But i can forgive most of it. Plus the spin dash wasn't a thing yet before sonic 2 came along and made the spin dash a thing. Overrall i see it as a good game but there are games that are better then it but it still is good.

Number 4: Sonic 2
It's fair to say that sonic 2 did improve on what sonic 1 did, and it does so amazingly. The levels are more unique, the spin dash and tails are here and Even FRICKING SUPER SONIC. It is just cool. I definitely had a lot of fun with it. It's another good game to play. But the special stages are a bit too tricky for me. i'm able to get the first chaos emerald but i have a lot of trouble trying to get the others but it's still a great game.

Number 3: Knuckles' Chaotix
I Might get hated for putting this one above sonic 2 but... I Like Knuckles' Chaotix. i know it's flawed but for whatever reason, i like it. i find the characters to play as with different ability's in the game to be interesting, and i don't mind the rubber band mechanic. Even if it might be a bit bonkers. Another reason why i like the game is it's music. MY FRICKING GOD THE MUSIC IN KNUCKLES' CHAOTIX IS FRICKING AMAZING! Cool, Sweet and Catchy they are. Many other sonic games have great music too but the music in Knuckles' chaotix is something beautiful. (My favorite song for it's ost is Seascape) And whenever i listen to the knuckles' chaotix tracks, i wish more songs for anything were like that. Being Cool, Sweet and Catchy. Overrall i like the game. even if it's flawed.

Number 2: Sonic 3 and Knuckles
The King of the best classic Sonic games being Sonic 3 and Knuckles. I Downright love this game. The music tracks like Ice Cap and The Michael jackson Mini boss track are just cool to listen to. The level design is nice and being able to play two different stories with either Sonic, Tails or Knuckles is downright cool. I Certainly recommend playing this game.

Number 1: Sonic Mania + Mania Plus.
Do i really need to say much about this? It's the number one best sonic game to me. The levels are Cool, The soundtrack's a banger and being able also play as Mighty and Ray (Two somewhat obscure characters in the sonic series) is cool to see.

Anyways that's my list of my favorite sonic games and please keep in mind that these are just my opinions and if you have different thoughts on these games, that's fine. We are all allowed to have our own opinions on stuff.
