Some people feel that the current Sonic cast is 'miscast,' but I think this criticism is more of a personal preference rather than a fair evaluation of their performances. To me, the current voice and acting choices bring a fresh energy to Sonic's character. They capture his cocky, adventurous, yet caring personality perfectly. Ben Schwartz, for example, delivers Sonic’s witty and youthful charm in a way that feels authentic and fun. While past versions of Sonic were great for their time(Not Jason sonic cause he really isn’t my favorite), I feel the current cast reflects the modern version of Sonic better. They’ve updated him for a new generation while keeping the core of his personality intact. Calling them 'miscast' feels more like an excuse for nostalgia than a fair critique. Every interpretation of a character evolves, and I believe this cast does an amazing job of making Sonic relatable to today’s audience. At the end of the day, these actors have brought Sonic and his friends to life in a way that makes me smile, laugh, and feel inspired. That’s what matters most to me, and that’s why I think they’re perfect for the roles. But not the voice directing cause it sucks, I don’t care how much you guys gonna say "Oh Jason better Ryan this Ryan that" cause this, this is the reason why I’m starting to dislike their role’s because of there fans keep Glazing on them (then again we also glaze one in other but that’s not the point) I get it you all miss the old VA and wanted a recast and I do too, but what you see is what you get. That my opinion, And the Sonic Va that I love did amazing that included Roger, Ryan, Jaleel, and Deven. Tell me who is your favorite sonic VA and I will respect your opinion.
