My favourite Sonic Game is easily Mania.

It can't be topped, and probably won't be topped for the next couple of Sonic games, and they'd all need to be bangers.

But, in order;

1. Sonic Mania, Reasoning already stated.

2. Sonic Origins, Just a banger game altogether, with it's only flaws being that it's pretty glitchy and scuffed. BUT, if you count that as more of a collection and not a game, 2 would probably go to Sonic 3 & Knuckles. And the only complaint about S3&K is that the Rings can be hard to find IMO.

3. Sonic X Shadow GEN, essentially the same reasoning as Sonic Origins, I just prefer the classic games to the Modern ones. AND, if you count these separate aswell, Sonic Generations definitely wins over Shadow.
