So here's my piece for the Naruto Collab on Newgrounds! I obviously had to chose volume 16, Naruto and Iruka's dynamic during episode 1 is what hooked me into the story. I still remember fondly my afternoons of constantly rewatching the chuunin exams cuz those seemed to be the episodes the channel repeated the most. Naruto was not only the first anime I tried to watch online so I could follow the story in order, it was also the first manga I ever read, since my school's library had some of the Shippuden volumes.

For a long time I tried (and failed) to emulate Kishimotos art style as a kid, and Naruto probably composed more than half of the anime fanart I did back then. Also, yes, I did have a Konoha headband that a friend gifted to me. Yes, I did wear it in public. And yes, I still own it.
