NDS 0.4.2 is out!


More work has been done, and this update contains alot of fixes and tweaks :D
Thank you to all of those who has taken their time to provide feedback, error reports and similiar things! It has helped alot :D

Though this version doesn’t have any progress on the story, it is still an important update removing annoying thigs. I AM working on the story and it IS making progress, but it takes some time ;)

NOTE: The patching system will be discontinued from this update. However, the patcher program and folder will still be present in order to improve the modding support. It will be updated on occasions to improve installation algorithms and configureablity.

    • Added basic fullscreen support

    • Added 03 error code

  • Fixes

    • Fixed UBC game crash (error code 05) at game over screen

    • Fixed bug that caused the program to exit after completing first time setup

    • Fixed loading screen bug. The problem was caused by a missing CLS command

    • Fixed bug that caused the magical number changer to appear when the user says no to troubleshooting a corrupted save

    • Removed some code that was used for debugging in a previous version. The code caused the game to create a new useless file in the root folder.

    • Fixed the partially broken Website Request system. (wReq\NDSrequest.bat)

    • Fixed bug that caused the game to crash if the game was stopped at save-load in the previous session.

  • Improvements

    • Replaced time delay in the magical number display with a pause.

    • Compacted .exe launcher script

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
