Necken Alfa 6


The 6th version of Necken is finally uploaded!
Biggest change in this version is probably the decision to move the Hammer from the building layer to the Smithy.

Made quite a few changes to this version:

  • Hammer is now built from Smithy instead of the Building layer

  • Tree stump is now called Stump

  • Updated the looks of special layers (Shop, Backpack, Smithy & Build)

  • Updated Grilled meat icon position

  • Updated Smithy icon

  • Updated menu

  • Updated HUD

  • Updated game over menu

  • Updated Coal & Hammer tiles (Will now turn into an empty tile if it’s not containing an item)

  • Added instructions section

  • Added feedback from healing tiles

  • Added icon showing when a special layer can be enabled

  • Added gnome attack animation

  • Fixed name of item not being removed from Backpack layer

  • Fixed Repair being enabled while not holding weapons sometimes

  • Rebuilt how tiles are created internally

It's been a long time since I updated anything on GameJolt, but I finally had the time to update the demo of Necken! A lot of new stuff that you could try if you like roguelikes =D
