Need opinions


At the moment I’m building the demo for MikuMikuManager.. I hope to have the demo out by November 1st! However,I’ve come to a huge desision I need potential players to help me make.

Now, there are 2 choices:

  • Miku Customized

  • Miku Movement.

Miku Customized -
With this option players will be able to costimize Miku. This will include hairstyle and color, eye color, and clothes. It gives players a more personal Miku. The only down side to this is Miku will stay in the same position through out the game; However Miku’s face can still show emotion.

Miku Movment -
With this option players can see Miku posed differently throughout the game. for example, Miku with her head tilted, or posed to make it look like Miku is thinking about something. The down side to this is that, Miku will not be able to be customized.

With both options, MikuMikuManager will take to long to program, and downloadable verisons will be huge. I will not do both.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
