Hello everyone. I regret to inform you that Nerf Rhett Games will be ceasing professional operation in thirty days. I've been doing some thinking and decided that this was the best choice to make. You may have a million questions racing through your head right now. Don't worry, I'll explain, and try my best to answer some of those.
Q: What led to this decision?
A: A number of things, mainly due to the fact that I had introduced Outlaw Software and canceled my flagship game (that being Cube Clicker 2, which never passed the true alpha stage).
Q: What does this mean for your currently published games?
A: They will be deleted with the exception of Physics Sandbox, which has a planned major update and sequel.
Q: Will you continue to develop games?
A: Yes, game development is my hobby. In fact, I have a few projects on my hands and are eagerly trying to get them out to you guys, except that instead of being released on Nerf Rhett Games, they will be released on Outlaw Software.
Q: Will Outlaw Software replace Nerf Rhett Games?
A: That's the plan. At first, it was decided that Outlaw Software and Nerf Rhett Games would coexist. However, as time went on, I got to thinking; there is no need to have two separate game development studios.
Q: Why is Outlaw Software replacing Nerf Rhett Games?
A: To maintain a more professional presence. Nerf Rhett Studios and Nerf Rhett Games acted like one but had vastly different content and quality. With Outlaw Software, I can now post videos on my YouTube channel and develop games without the two mixing and looking completely different.
Well, it's been a good two years. I've made many games and gained experience that can be greater utilized in Outlaw Software. I hope to see you there.
