Heya fellas,
The map is now fully functional in terms of quick display and a similar display system is being worked on for the inventory! Eventually, interactive buttons will be added into the two systems but the level of interaction isn’t determined yet.
As for the areas, one part is mostly complete! Introducing the Ruins, a mess of purple rubble established as a campsite and the Crypt, with its dutiful, terrifying and secretive guardian the Grave Keeper.
The images are still being worked on but they’ll do for now as we progress onto the later stages of the Void. The first day (day 5) is now complete and the second will be soon. I can’t promise much, but based on recent progress the new demo may come out sometime next month!
If the inventory system works anytime soon though (at least until it’s on par with the map) we might have an update for the first demo with that included. Probably within the next week.
The plan now for demo 2 would be more interaction, more dialogue and more image variation (sprites, background and animations). Let’s hope it all works out well.
