New build has been uploaded! The new build goes up until the room before the third boss and contains a hell of a lot of new content. This is my first devlog using the new format, so apologies if it's a mess.
The new build contains the following:


  • For now, all the dialogue has been deleted as the current stuff is just bad and cringe. In the future the game might have plot, but for now that is not the case.

  • TONS and TONS of bug fixes, including fan favourites like the “oh shit the player is gone upon entering a new room rip” and the “first boss wall clip” bug.

  • Two new weapons : The Bounchy Sword and the Soul Sword.

  • Changed the main theme to something not annoying

  • Added sfx

  • Added the second boss, Toxic Laughter.

  • Added rooms up until the third boss (build will probably contain the third boss as well)

  • Added two enemies : The Devil Swarm and Happy

  • Nerfed the game’s bosses

  • Better colission (yay!)

  • An in-game menu that allows you to select your weapons, see your health, and that pauses the game (pretty much)

  • Room transitions! Ones that don’t look bad!

  • A score system! You get more points upon killing enemies! Can you get the highest possible score?

Next up

New Build coming up somewhere this week! It'll contain 3 weapons to choose from and 3 bosses!

Working on area 4. When this area is done, I'm going to revise all the others. Make them lengthier, add scenes, dialogue, npc's etc. Also skill points are implemented now, so that's cool.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
