Masky was a normal person, but he was ambitious and tried to find immortality. He found a god, and tried to kill them, but, that god was way stronger. He made the person's body rot, but he would still be alive. He was bloody, nasty and smelly, but he found a way to control this stuff. To stay alive, he need to eat fresh meat (Human, Animal, any) and he can shapeshift into anybody and anything. Now, he's a black goo, that's ugly and immortal, and now, he is tries to become a clown. He wears that mask so that people don't see his ugly face. He can shapeshift, create clones, posses people and create tentacles. He have only one eye (the other fell off)
