Ever since July, I’ve been working on an engine for this game. It started out promising, but the collisions and physics just couldn’t work right. The collisions were not precise and the physics were buggy. So, I decided to make another engine from scratch, this time using more advanced coding and variables I actually had control over. (Example: h_sp instead of hspeed)
With this, I’m now able to implement slopes into the gameplay!
I’m working ever so tediously to ensure the same, if not better user interface is duplicated from the previous engine. So far, it’s going as planned.
