New GodPowers, HD Update, and Bug Fixes


Version 2.8 brings a lot of graphics fixes while managing to lower the perfomance costs. I improved the skybox textures, improved planet and star smoothing, as well as fixing problems where planets and nebulas were visible even though they were behind a star.

Another big update is the addition of Spawn GodPowers, which let you shoot out asteroids, comets and nebulas. Shooting asteroids is particularly fun, as they’ll coalesce into a planet if you shoot a couple.

As far as bug fixes, I fixed a few more problems with the orbit script, such as objects resizing when you resize what they’re orbitin, as well as a fullscreen glitch in the downloadable versions.

I’ve also been working hard on adding Multiplayer, which will debut publically with Version 3.0. Stay tuned, more updates and fixes will be coming out very soon!

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
