New patch and game pack coming soon

I’ve been working on Exile’s code and content sporadically for the last few months, and so far, this is what I have to show for it:

The gameplay has been tweaked massively, and a few new things have been added to the level format to allow for varied level architecture.

In the list of ‘things to do in the near future’:

Improve enemy AI so they stand a little ways apart from each other when crowding.

Add the Crossbow weapon

Add the Explosive Flask item (A throwable explosive bottle). This is related to…

Cracked floors/walls. Can be broken with an explosion.

Triggers and Events. I had the basic system for this in the code, but never
had the time to add it in the first Release. This will allow for ‘scripted’ enemy placement, and switches that open doors, lower sections of floor, break blocks, spawn enemies, etc.

Today I was setting up the location of the first boss. His name is "Father" and he is the first of the Patagonians. His task is to guard the road to the House.🛡🗡 Bookmark pre-launch page🔖🔖🔖

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.
