Save System Update & Main Menu Completion
Hey everyone! I’ve just added a new save system to Midnight Protocol. Here’s a quick rundown of how it works:
When you save, the game checks which night you're on and stores that information in a file. It’s saved as a JSON (a simple data format), encoded, and then downloaded to your computer as a
save.midnight-protocolfile.When you load the game, it opens the file, decodes it, and uses the saved night data to continue from where you left off, making it easy to pick up right where you stopped.
This system is still in its early stages, but it’s a big step forward for the game!
Also, the main menu is now finished! 🎉 It’s looking good, and it’s ready for you to use in the game.
I’m excited for you to try it out, and I’ll keep working on improvements!
